I suggest puppies come for short visits as soon as they are allowed ouside after their puppy vaccinations are clear. Salon dog grooming is very different to brushing at home, the puppy needs to get used to the sounds, smells, vibrations of the clippers, nail cutting; to learn grooming is not a scary experience and is simply a normal part of life. A puppy groom includes a bath, dry, feet/face/bum tidy & nail clip, to prepare them for their first full haircut.
Bathing in high qulity professional shampoo, conditioner & coat care products included if needed, followed by a full blow dry & brush out. Also includes a nail clip & ear clean.

I specialise in handstripping, having attended further training in this area & showing a wire coated breed in the ring. For spaniels & wire coated breeds; an assessment of the coat is needed prior to booking, as many coats will not be suitable. Handstripping is a process that needs regular work & is usually only possible on a unneutered dog, although some coats can be forgiving.
Yes, cats can need grooming too! Senior or poorly cats may not be able to clean their coats themselves well, resulting in compacted undercoat that needs brushing/combing out. If matts get too large & too close to the skin, the only safe way to remove them is to clip the area. Sometimes they may need a bath & dry. If they're not scratching a post or similar to break off their shedding nails, they may need claw cutting. Please note i do not clip cats for fashion or to cool them down, as it does not cool them down, they self regulate their own temperature. Brushing out dead undercoat is the best thing for your cat.
I offer this service for free for regular customers between booked regular grooms. Otherwise this is £5 & can be booked at short notice.
